Dinner party #006: Buggs

Being non-football people and feeling lonesome on a collegey night (with Gator Growl and everything) David and I decided to invite a lonesome non-football friend of ours over: Richard Buggs.

Dinner menu was chicken basted in apple sauce with portabella mushrooms, and caramelized orzo with onions. It was getting cold outside, so the warm dinner warmed our hearts as well as stomachs (I think I'm getting dumber by each day I'm out of college).

Anyway, the real reason why we invited Richard over was to remedy this aforementioned intellectual malaise of mine. If you have ever exchanged more than a polite everyday how are you's with Richard, you know what I'm talking about. I think I really got smarter talking to Richard (and I believe David shares my sentiments). This is not to think that I somehow increased my IQ by talking to Richard (seeing as how that's impossible), but that our conversations made me think about various issues in deeper lights.

On another note, getting colder in Gainesville. Mmm.
