Labor Day

Means an awesome breakfast cooked by the husband. I am not usually a fan of sweet breakfasts (with the exception of waffles), but boy, did he win me over with these!

Homemade pancakes are the best.

Especially with real maple syrup.

After breakfast, I got distracted.

Labor Day also means free Chick-Fil-A sandwiches! We headed over to the Archer Chick-Fil-A to get ours, to find an overwhelming sea of college students lined up for free sandwiches. Poor Gainesville employees...

Digging in.

I didn't expect such gourmet quality for a free meal. Mmm.

Love is expensive. Love is sacrificial. Thank you, Chick-Fil-A, for loving me.

I cooked corn frittata, a type of Italian omelet, for dinner. It required eight eggs--I think we eat too much protein. @_@

Here's my happy handsome husband.

At night, we had our own little tea party with fine bone tea cups and fancy dessert plates that Mom gave us. Twinings Darjeeling and oat biscuits... I am convinced tea can't get much better than this. Mmm.
